OUR STORY
THE NAME
Glass + Gracias
Glasscias joins two words: glass, and gracias, thank you.
It comes from a feeling we have always known:
the quiet gratitude of a good moment with a glass you love.
The first pour after a long week. A toast you will remember.
The weight of something beautiful in your hand.
WHY WE BEGAN
Most glassware is made to be replaced.
Thin, forgettable, identical. We wanted the opposite: glasses with enough presence to make an ordinary evening feel considered, and enough quality to outlast the occasion.
Glasscias began in 2022 in San Diego with a simple belief: what you drink from changes how a drink feels. The weight in your hand, the way light moves through a cut, the clear ring of crystal. These are part of the pour, not decoration.
THE CRAFT
Cut by hand, one facet at a time.
Each pattern is cut into lead-free crystal by hand against a turning wheel, so no two glasses are exactly alike. Our Kiriko-style designs draw on Japanese cutting traditions: starbursts, fans and lattices that catch the light from every angle.
Clarity
Lead-free crystal with a brilliance you can see across the table.
Weight
A balanced, substantial base that settles into the hand.
Longevity
Made to be used every day and handed down, not replaced.
